Honey museum
Gergő Méhes’ apiary is located in Vizsoly, in the picturesque North-Eastern part of Hungary. The visitors can try the most popular and particular types of honey and can enjoy a bee-keeping presentation.
The museum also hosts several old bee-keeping utensils, shares the history and the basics of honey making. The wide variety of the apiary’s produce can be bought in the museum.
Entrance fee: 750 HUF per person, free entry under 6.
The entrance fee includes a honey sample (45 g), 1 presentation and the observation of the ongoing seasonal jobs in the apiary (weather permitted).
